David Lammy is one of Britain’s most outspoken politicians. The Shadow Lord Chancellor won the GQ Magazine Politician Of The Year for his work on behalf of Grenfell Tower victims and those affected by the Windrush immigration scandal. A remarkable public speaker, he will be discussing his remarkable new book, Tribes. Part memoir, part call-to-arms Tribes explores how David Lammy felt reading his DNA results, and how they led him to rethink what it meant to need to belong to a tribe. David Lammy was the first black Briton to study at Harvard Law School and served as a minister under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. He will take audience questions and discuss other topical issues, including Black Lives Matter.
