The Shropshire hills will be alive with the sound of warbling this October, as Midlands legend Barbara Nice (aka stand-up comic Janice Connolly) hosts a screening of the classic Julie Andrews musical.
The film itself is a cast-iron classic that’s stood the test of time, telling the story of the Von Trapp family singers in 1930s Salzburg during the rise of the Nazi party, interspersed with a host of infamous tunes to sing along to that include My Favourite Things, Edelweiss and Do-Re-Mi. Fancy dress is absolutely encouraged.
