The historic Telford Steam Railway forms the perfect backdrop for this tasty matinee of Brief Encounter, David Lean’s gorgeously filmed tale of unexpected romance and English stiff upper lips on the railway lines.
Start the afternoon with sandwiches, cake and prosecco on board one of Telford Steam Railway’s historic steam trains, then head over to the nearby Horsehay Community Centre for the screening itself, where tea and coffee will be served as you watch Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard question their previously happy home lives after a chance encounter at a railway station blossoms into a burgeoning attraction.
Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to maintain our programme of arts and entertainment.
