We understand sometimes that isn't always cool to be with the "little kids" so we are putting on group Learn 2 Ride sessions specifically aimed at older children where they can learn a new life skill. You're never too old and it's never too late to learn to ride a bike.
If your school age child wants to learn to ride a two wheeled bike, or maybe they learnt when they were younger and need to rebuild their confidence – then these sessions are exactly what they need.
Aimed children aged 10 + these sessions will enable your child to learn at their own pace with the support of our experienced instructors. Gaining the confidence and skills needed to ride a bike can be overwhelming for older children, which is why we have designed these sessions, so they are able to learn in a safe, supportive environment with peers their own age.
If your child has their own bike you are welcome to bring it along, otherwise bikes and helmets can be borrowed from the Bike Hub at no extra cost. Participants should bring a drink and wear weather appropriate clothing, such as a raincoat, and sunscreen if required.
These are 1hr groups sessions (up to 8 children per session) and are available on the following dates below.
If you feel your child would be more suited to a 1-2-1 lesson please email thebikehub@telford.gov.uk for details and availability.
Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to maintain our programme of arts and entertainment.
